Grade Really Means.

Physical grade describes bean size, shape and density. It does not by itself guarantee cup quality, which is assessed separately through green inspection and cupping.

The Kenyan
Grading System.

Kenyan coffee is separated by screen size and density during dry milling. AA is not automatically a better cup than AB from the same lot.

Ugandan grading is a separate system from Kenya's and should not be combined with it. Robusta is traded primarily on screen size.
